Good news on the jobs front: government jobs increase by 600,000
Rick Moran

Veronique de Rugy, writing at NRO's The Corner , has an interesting graph about public vs. private sector jobs since the recession started 2 years ago:

Since the beginning of the recession (roughly January 2008), some 7.9 million jobs were lost in the private sector while 590,000 jobs were gained in the public one. And since the passage of the stimulus bill (February 2009), over 2.6 million private jobs were lost, but the government workforce grew by 400,000.

I wonder who's going to pay their salaries when the stimulus money runs out.....oh, wait....now I remember....that's why all the states are out of money and want a bail out.....I wonder who's going to pay their salaries when the bail out money runs out.....

The only good news in all of this is that no matter how much Pie in the Sky rhetoric that comes from those who voted Obama? They too want this turkey gone; 'cause when it comes down to it no one likes an empty wallet just so someone who can't afford to, can buy a house...

though I have no way to prove it, I'd contend that most of the 400,000 jobs
were filled by minorities.....
