Voters need to hear a "a very simple set of messages" from Romney that would lay out a clear plan for what he would do if elected, Wisconsin Governor Walker (R) said. "It’s not just a referendum on President Obama."

"I don’t know that voters are there yet with Gov. Romney," he said.

LOL, yes Romney should make his "plan" abundantly clear.

What was his plan again? Oh yeah, Increase defense spending and cut taxes for the very wealthy. That should work.

Walker is spot on right. Romney needs a message that clearly and concisely communicates what his goals and agenda are and he needs to be disciplined and stay on message. The difficulty that Romney is facing, particularly with independents and moderates, is that he is running both against Obama and George W. Bush. He has to convince swing voters that he's a better man for the job than Obama and that he's not an incompetent right wing ideologue like W.

Contrary to what the Republican partisan hacks would have you believe 2/3rds of the American public still hold Bush accountable for the current fiscal/economic mess we are currently in.

Obama also needs a message that clearly and concisely communicates what his goals and agenda are and he needs to be disciplined and stay on message. The difficulty Obama is facing, particularly with independents and moderates is that he is running around whining about how this isn't his fault. He has become another Bush. Inept across the board and an ideologue just like Bush. That is why he is losing support among independents and failing to energize his own base.

Well unfortunately for Republican 2/3rd of the American public agree with him as to who is at fault. Also unfortunately for Republicans Obama's middle class oriented message is resonating quite succesfully while Mitt has no message at all other than he's not Obama. That would probably explain why statistical probabilities give Obama nearly a 2 to 1 lead (67% to 32%) over Romney in winning the popular vote.

Here's your link and it verifies my contention that Romney not only has to run against Obama he has to run against Bush as well.

That's the idiotic liberal's take. Now all we have to do is wait for the actual events to unfold. ;)

On the good side for Romney the blame gap has decreased from 80% to 68%. LOL

The blame on Bush did indeed decrease... unfortunately for you the numbers for Obama went the other way... they increased from 32% to 52%. Ooooops... funny how you missed that part.

Also... Obama has no message. That is a big part of his problem. His message is 'its someone else's fault'

this is precisely what mittens does not want to do, if he espouses any plans then he can be attacked for them so he restricts himself to generalities

Why don't you go right ahead and prove me wrong now. Link to Romney's plan please. Oh wait, I forgot you are just a GOP bobblehead and they havn't handed out this months talking points yet. Oh well, get back to me when Rush tells you what to say.

I don't see any explanations listing the reasons Romney's better-qualified than Obama...
