'They cannot possibly win!' Marjorie Taylor Greene says Ukraine should give up as she decries more US military aid

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Wednesday slammed President Joe Biden for sending more military aid to Ukraine, and said that things would be better off if Ukrainians just gave up their efforts to resist the Russian invasion.

In a Facebook address to her supporters, Greene laid out the case against helping the Ukrainians with more weapons.

"If we truly care about suffering and death on our television screens, we cannot fund more of it by sending money and weaponry to fight a war they cannot possibly win!" she said. "The only effect of more arms and more money from America will be to prolong the war!"

Greene went on to say that America was giving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his people "false hope about a war they can't win."

One thing the last four months have taught us is that a lot of Republicans would be the first to run up the white flag of surrender and submit.

Despite spending decades hugging their bang-bangs and hollering about fighting for freedom to the death.

It is not up to Trump supporters to decide when Ukranians should stop fighting. Ukrainians obviously still have the motivation and intention to fight.

Since MTG said this, the Ukranians defeated Putin in spectacular fashion at the battles of Kyiv and Kharkiv, routed the Russians out of northern and northeastern Ukraine, have recaptured thousands of square miles of Donetsk and Kherson provinces.
 
For some reason MTG overlooked the atrocities that the Russians left behind before telling the world that the Ukrainians would be better-off under Russian control.

Since MTG suggested Ukraine just give up and surrender, Ukraine has taken back more than half the territory Russian occupied in March 2022, has equipped and trained their army so there is no realistic chance Russia will capture Kyiv, conquer Ukraine, and install a puppet government.

Ukraine is developing missile and drone technology to strike deep into Russia, and has Russia playing defense on the sovereign Ukranian territory it still occupies.


The only question remaining on the table is whether or not Putin will be allowed to keep a thin strip of land along the shores of the Sea of Azov he currently occupies.

The fact that MTG is still walking around in public is an indictment of all REAL American patriots.
A civilized republic would have the poor thing in a rubber room awaiting her merciful lethal injection.
 
The Taliban cannot possible win and outlast both the Russians and then Americans. NO way, by MTG derp logic.


What Marjorie Derp Greene does not understand is that no one should accept her as the sole world expert on anything, not which ice cream flavor is best, and especially not what type of resolve the Ukraine people have, and her view to abandon them so they are FORCED to surrender to Russia.

MTG is used to 4th of July barbeques, weekly pedicures, and banging dudes at her gym.

I don't think she contemplates the possibility of fighting against enemies percieved to have superior force.

The people of the East Slavic nations will fight to defend their turf even when outgunned. Ukraine lost seven million people evicting the Nazis, and anyone who thought they could simply be intimidated into giving up their country simply hasn't lived outside the Fox bubble.
 
The Ukrainians are free to fight as long as they want to. I dont blame them one bit. America has givin enuff. Time for the rest of the world to kick in a whole lot more instead of a broke and busted country like us. Any contribution we give to Ukraine should come wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy after our many problems are dealt with here.

I have heard MAGAs claim that the Kremlin sympathizers are only a minority in the GOP base, but then on the other hand the GOP base overhemingly wants notorious Kremlin sympathizer Donald Trumpf to be president.
