Good things about Trump...

I've been working this morning on good things I can say about Trump.

I've come up with a few... but the best of them is this...

I think he will be a better president than GWB was. Trump was brave enough to call out the Bushes (and Clinton) on the Iraq war. That was not necessary going to be a popular thing to do in the Republican primary. I respect that. Hindsight is 20/20 but at least he did it, no other Republican was ever going to do that.

Their is also this.

I do like that he is, in some ways, an outsider. He is not beholden to any financial interests or to the Establishment Republicans. I like that. I think he is a bit beholden to the Evangelicals but its their last hurrah so let them at it.

I like that he is himself, he presents his honest self to the public, flaws and all. All other politicians (actually most professionals) present their most polished and refined selves, and I like that he does not hide his flaws.

I think he is truly going to try to make America better in many ways. He says he is not going to let people go without quality healthcare, I hope that is true. He agrees that the gay marriage issue is decided and need not be disturbed, and if that is true access to abortion services must also be decided.

I think the man has an honest heart.

I didn't vote for Hillary.

You voted for Trump, even though we find out today that you didn't think he was a good candidate. There are lots like you. A vote for Trump is still a vote for Trump; you're all accountable for what's about to happen.

Trump initially supported the Iraq War. His new position on that is nothing but opportunistic and not based on any clear principles.

He has always served his own financial interests. His Trump Foundation pretends to be a charity and is instead acts in the interests of his businesses. During the campaign there have been stories about how his businesses were profiting from it. So, I think you have to a grade a sucker not to suspect he will use this office to line his own pockets.

I only hope that his ego and desire to be loved will keep him in line. But the man has never shown any shame so...

Stop pretending you give a shit; hell, your gal Hillary and BillyBob have a LOT more corrupt conflicts of interests than PRESIDENT TRUMP.....I love the smell of victory in the morning....and leftist crying and feet stomping.

I don't see how that works with his holdings. He is not just stock and you can't really hide his holdings from him because they have his name all over them.

He needs to start by knocking down the artificial barriers between states which create de facto insurarance company monopolies.

Trump won against all odds. The GOP, and blue collar democrats gave him a significant victory. PA and Michigan are snapshots of how impactful his jobs talking points resonated. MAGA!

Hillary didn't even have the cajone's to appear before her supporters and be gracious. Instead she sent out Podesta. I think that move encapsulated her elitist self interest. Her supporters deserved her appearance and a message of gratitude for their support.
