The USA is cutting cancer research, but Europe and China will step up and take our place. The cures will still be developed, just by Europeans and the Chinese. I am sure they will sell the cures to us, at a steep profit. Throw in trump's promised 300% tariff on drugs, and it is going to cost dearly.

In 2008 Britain began offering a newly developed HPV vaccine to teenage girls. A decade and a half later, rates of cervical cancer among women in their 20s are down by 90%, and British health officials talk of virtually eradicating cervical cancer by 2040.
