Gold explained

lol no, it isn't 'problematic'; they both have shit paper currencies. That Mighty BRIC scam is merely a deal to trade in gold disguised as a replacement for the dollar, and as we've seen no different than what is going on in many of our own states. I can use dollars nearly everywhere as well as gold, though, where the convenience factor dominates.
If you could print money, and force people to accept it, why would you want to use gold?

these qualites are why aliens created humans to mine it.
Interestingly enough, gold is more common in the solar system than it is on the surface of the Earth. The gold on Earth dropped to the center of the Earth, when the Earth was all a molten liquid. Then later, small amounts of gold were added to the surface, when astroids and comets hit the Earth. If you want to mine gold in this solar system, you would want to mine it from those astroids and comets where it is a thousand times more dense.

There is a real chance that during our lifetime, gold will become plentiful from astroid mining.

If aliens had space travel, they would mine it from places other than Earth.

maybe there's a factor you're unaware of which you are unaware.

maybe tracking the vectors through space time works better on a larger object such as earch.

duh.

How do central banks consume gold? I thought they stockpiled it. Are you telling us that the gold they get will never again be used as gold?

The reality is that gold is mostly circulated, while many other materials are consumed. The gold dug up in the Roman Empire is still circulating.
Wrong again, Never Right Walter.

Consume-to devour, to take in. Consumption means using, buying or eating something.

They take the gold in and use it.

The reality is that you were wrong…again, Never Right Walter.

Well, I will leave tracking the vectors through space time to experts like you 🙃 ... I will be working out how to live a better life using the technology we are developing now.

Hmmm, you did seem to say it:

Again, gold is used as a store of value, but not as actual currency.
Umm…wrong again, Never Right Walter.

Several states recognize gold and/or silver as legal tender, meaning they can be used to settle debts and payments. These states include Arizona, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, and South Carolina. Additionally, Louisiana, Kansas, Indiana, and Texas have also considered or passed legislation recognizing precious metals as ***currency.*** (Asterisks are mine)

I am not going to dumb this down for you more. If you feel you have a good knowledge of the markets, you should invest based on it.

you know the best ways to mine gold through space.

why do it?

is gold the future of mission criitical IT infrastructure?

so you've been lying this whole thread.

So, you admit that you were wrong…again, Walter.

Alert! Strawmen on the loose.

How about that “currency” that you said gold could not be used for?

Two wrong posts, you are batting one thousand, Never Right Walter.

Walter?

It appears that Never Right Walter is not the best source for information about gold.

He did not know that gold is used for currency in the US and that it is consumed.

Poor, poor Never Right Walter,

Never Right Walter is a hoot.

His “Good Explained” thread wasn’t explained very well.

He appears to believe that he is an expert on everything in the universe, gets shot down and then departs.
