The question has nothing to do with the issue.....the judge is not asking for a contractual agreement....he is giving the guilty party a choice of punishment...its been done for hundreds of years.....10 days or 10 dollars ...remember that ole saying...

Utah's giving the person to be executed a choice of firing squad or lethal injection....is this unConstitutional ?

so once again, would you be ok with a muslim judge giving the choice of jail or mosque for a year?

it is a question, nothing is implied, a simple yes or no will suffice.

btw, i said it is LIKE, not that it is.

Yes, Yurt, it is LIKE a contract of adhesion, but not. How much choice does any convict have when standing before a judge at a sentencing?

Generaly none, yet in this case, they ARE given a choice; Jail or church. Those are the TWO OPTIONS.
