The only thing Steve Bannon did was defraud a bunch of stupid Trumppers who gave money for a wall.

Chumps got Trumped.

And Bannon got away with it. Trump's don't care about their chumps.

Hopefully state charges will be instituted. He's wanting to start a new party with Bannon as the architect, betcha anything.

How would you feel about the Pardon if you were one of the Trumppers he stole money from?

I would believe what OANN told me to believe -- that it was all a big lie cooked up by the Deep State, Hillary, and the MSM. Bannon didn't steal anything. The open-borders socialists hate him and wanted to hurt our glorious leader.

How's that?

But if it wasn't a political thing, if I had donated money to some charity and the CEO used it to fund a lavish lifestyle, was caught and charged and then pardoned? Damn right I'd be pissed. But the Cultists are too stupid to blame the right person.

Would be very interesting if he did.

That would split the Republican Party and seal Democrat dominance.

And that might not actually be such a good thing.

Brilliant analysis.

Bannon is a douche. I much prefer the Papadopoulos pardon, as he didn't actually do anything wrong, and he's not a douche.

Personally, I'm not a fan of all the drug trafficking pardons and commutations, but, I guess it goes toward one of Trump's areas of outreach.

Lots of Deplorables were fleeced out of their hard earned cash by Bannon. So funny that Trump does not even try to provide justice for his loyal and worshipful supporters.

It also opens the door to compel Bannon to testify under oath about his crimes and his contacts. If he lies, he's back in the hole.

Explain Trump pardoning Kwame Kilpatrick. Is it birds if a feather? Or does he see financial crimes as no big deal?

Did Trump pardon Bannon's co-defendant?
Not sure who that is....and he can still pardon more for another 45 minutes. Here's the list: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/20/us/politics/trump-pardons.html

President Trump used his final hours in office to wipe away convictions and prison sentences for a roster of corrupt politicians and business executives and bestow pardons on allies like Stephen K. Bannon, his former chief strategist, and Elliott Broidy, one of his top fund-raisers in 2016.

The wave of clemency grants, hours before Mr. Trump’s departure from the White House, underscored how many of his close associates and supporters became ensnared in corruption cases and other legal troubles, and highlighted again his willingness to use his power to help them and others with connections to him.

His decision to grant clemency to a raft of elected officials and business executives caught up in high-profile corruption cases also represented a final lashing out by Mr. Trump at a criminal justice system that he had come to view as unfairly hounding him and his allies. It came as the Senate prepared for his second impeachment trial, on a charge of inciting the deadly riot at the Capitol this month, and could be another factor in influencing whether Republicans join Democrats in voting to convict him.

Mr. Trump retains the power to issue further pardons — including theoretically for himself and members of his family — until noon Wednesday, when his four-year tenure comes to an end. But officials said they did not anticipate him doing so.
