I don't know why ppl think this is "assault" or "molesting" or whatever. It's what old dudes do. I'm a retired nurse. I think every single one of us hands-on health care providers has been fondled, grabbed, groped, etc. by an elderly gent. Usually it's the men suffering from dementia, but not always. We're all sexual beings, and men especially feel the loss of that part of our being as we age.
You might be surprised at the number of elderly ladies who still feel the call of the wild, especially when a younger man drifts within reach. ;~)

Thanks for sharing that. I appreciate hearing from a woman's perspective. When we're talking people 90 years and older I would think most of them do suffer from something. Not to say it justifies all behavior but holding 90 year old's to same standards as someone who is 40 isn't right. Like you said dementia and other conditions are very real.

One thing I like about Poppy, is he was one of the last breed of northeastern Republicans who seemed to generally believe the government was not supposed to be legislating biblical law, he was reasonably educated and did not worship at the altar of ignorance.
And he was modestly respectful of science and the environment (in the way Republicans used to be). One of my favorite things he did was the 1990 amendment to the Clean Air Act, which significantly improved that landmark environmental act. That is something no modern republican, teabagger, or Trumpette would even consider doing.
