The economic clusterfuck the US is currently in. Inflation, the exorbitant cost of EVERYTHING from groceries to electricity to gas.

That is a global issue and one of the causes was the pandemic.

Economic factors and measures take time. It can take years to have any effect.

Trump laid the groundwork for our current conditions. Like every Republican predecessor, he has no longview - he tried to pass tax cuts that only benefitted the short term, but gave us no foundation. And then he botched the COVID response, which wrecked everything.

This is Trumpflation. It started under him, and like all of his Dem predecessors, Biden will fix the mess Republicans left.
