Due to an expected high turn out tomorrow they've decided to split up the vote by party. Tuesday the republicans should vote, Wednesday has been set aside for the democrats, independents and minor parties can choose to vote on either day...

I like to take my granddaughters to the polling place and let them see Grammy vote! My dad and mother use to take us, and then dad would take us home and she stayed to volunteer.
She is a registered Democrat and dad is a registered Republican. I think it helped instill in me my respect for the vote and my interest in politics and maybe why I am confused according to some people! ;)
 
My parents took us back in the day. They even had childrens ballots that we inserted into the older, non-electronic machines, and punched in votes for Washington, Lincoln, and so forth...

The Kansas Democratic Party has leveled a charge of voter intimidation and has filed a complaint with the Kansas Attorney General’s office.

According to the Kansas Democratic Party, they received allegations from “individual” voters from around Kansas who claimed to have received a robo-call from who they called an “as yet named Republican organization” reminding them to bring their voter registration card and proof of home ownership with them to the polls on Nov. 3.

First, the election is slated for Nov. 2 and second, Kansas voters are not required to bring a voter registration card nor proof of home ownership to the polls when they vote.
