Another HYPOCRITE on the trump team, is anybody surprised? This is better than a soap opera, As the Stomach Turns. :D

"A secret U.S. military investigation in 2010 determined that Michael T. Flynn, the retired Army general tapped to serve as national security adviser in the Trump White House, “inappropriately shared” classified information with foreign military officers in Afghanistan, newly released documents show.

Although Flynn lacked authorization to share the classified material, he was not disciplined or reprimanded after the investigation concluded that he did not act “knowingly” and that “there was no actual or potential damage to national security as a result,” according to Army records obtained by The Washington Post under the Freedom of Information Act.

During the presidential race, Flynn campaigned vigorously for Republican nominee Donald Trump and drew attention for his scalding attacks against Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified material. Clinton was investigated by the FBI for allowing classified information to be transmitted on her private email server when she ran the State Department. No charges were filed against the former secretary of state, but the issue dogged her for more than a year.

At the Republican National Convention in July, Flynn called on Clinton to drop out of the race for putting “our nation’s security at extremely high risk with her careless use of a private email server.” He egged on the partisan crowd in chants of “lock her up,” adding: “If I, a guy who knows this business, if I did a tenth, a tenth of what she did, I would be in jail today.”

Flynn did not respond to requests for comment.

well if it was good enough for Clinton to dodge with "no intent" it should be good enough for Flynn to dodge too.
But in Flynn's case it looks like more of an authorization problem rather then "extreme carelessness " by Clinton

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES -- BHO

The difference? He did not lie under oath, and did not allow the Russians to hack into an open sever...that now is some kind of excuse propagated as to why HILLARY LOST. Funny as hell

Mr. Flynn openly admitted to the mistake and did not declare he was above the law. This person has a great deal more honor...than you leftists. :)

Besides....your OPINION is moot because Trump owns Congress and the Senate...and thanks to Harry Reid the left can't filibuster one of Trumps selections...all it takes is a simple majority...60 votes is no longer required thanks to Democrat precedent. Look for Trump to NUKE the hell out you demwits. What goes around comes around.

The Hillary Clinton defense....equal treatment under the law one might say.....

2010 ? Does the buck ever get to Obama's desk ?

Flynn dodged it five years before Hillary. Who even knew about it in 2010? It wasn't made public and he got no punishment or blowback. So the question is, why wasn't Hillary treated the same as Flynn, not the opposite.

The Flynn thing was uncovered during Obama's administration, dummy. But I agree, Flynn should have been investigated and scorned publicly just like Hillary. Military man gets a pass, woman doesn't. And the icing on the cake is Flynn's hypocrisy that Hillary endangered the nation's security. I attribute what Hillary did to sheer stupidity but Flynn can't claim he was ignorant of what he did. He knowingly and willingly shared classified information.

You sound like a little child.

Those foreign military officers in Afghanistan are allies....and “there was no actual or potential damage to national security as a result,” according to Army records.

Big difference than using an email server that contain TOP SECRET and higher classified information that had less security than Google's gmail....for years.

Nice try though.

The same thing was said about Hilllary's emails, no damage to national security.

Keep hacking along though. Petraeus and Flynn do it, no problem. Hillary does it, the sky is falling.

And speaking of email...

As it turns out, Rep. Jason Chaffetz and Rep. Trey Gowdy also use private emails. Alternet reports that Chaffetz uses his private email address on his business card instead of his official government email address and Trey Gowdy also uses his website email address.

Here’s an image of Chaffetz’s business card.

Gowdy even outed a CIA operative by releasing documents to the public as he was investigating Clinton for somehow exposing our national security to outside risks. I don’t recall him ever calling for himself to be investigated for that.

Alternet tried reaching Gowdy for comment but he ignored the request which means he refuses to discuss his own private email uses.

So the Obama administration chose not to do anything to Flynn. What does that tell you?

HRClinton's extreme carelessness" was systematic. She used her PDA in secure sites -despite being warned not to. She consistently lied about it starting in March 2015.
I find it hard to believe she would set up a private server (and no State .gov account)-for any reason other then to avoid FOIA requests.
That left her no option then to deal with classified Emails on her own non-secure server.
