The bill will now head to Joe Biden’s desk for a signature.

The House has passed a bill that ensures equal compensation for U.S. women competing in international events, a piece of legislation that came out of the U.S. women’s soccer team’s long battle to be paid as much as the men.

The Equal Pay for Team USA Act, passed late Wednesday, will require all athletes representing the United States in global competition to receive equal pay and benefits in their sport, regardless of gender. It covers America’s 50-plus national sports and requires the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee to handle oversight

The top team in the WNBA could not beat a good boys HS team. Wimmin are EXTREMELY INIFERIOR physically but democrats insist no one can say that.
 
I think I can kinda understand this.

Im against Women and Men being paid the same in WNBA and NBA. Mostly because the "feminists" who insist on equal pay dont actually watch the WNBA so they end up making no revenue AND being subsidized by the NBA.

However in this case, from what I understand, your being paid by the government to play and win. Your "team" is not really getting a share of the revenue or ticket sales. In that case then yeah equal pay is fine. In essence it doesnt matter if no one watches you as thats not where your revenue is coming from.

The govt should not be paying anyone for athletics. Subsidizing sports is NOT one of the listed powers of congress.

Show some homework. When did Dem's say that? Could you play in the NBA?
I have read articles about Olympic records of men and women for many decades discussing the difference between men's and women's top times. They exist. However modern women's records are on par with men's in the past. They are close in distance events. You may not have noticed, that men and women are different. If I show you a woman who can beat you in racketball or a footrace, would you admit you are inferior to her?

You are the dumbest person ever. Practically no one in the WNBA can dunk even though many of those girls are well over 6 feet. Griner can dunk but she's 6 9. OTOH lots of NBA players under 6 feet have been dunkers. Wimmin basketball players are terrible. Not even close to the men.

1. Women should have their own separate sports leagues because men are so physically superior

2. But women athletes should get paid the same as men because the sexes are equal.
