feinstein wants double penalties on pot in brownies

The Senate is awaiting a vote on a bill that would double penalties for any edible products combined with medical marijuana in California and other states that provide relief for patients. S. 258, the Saving Kids from Dangerous Drugs Act, was introduced by Sen. Diane Feinstein and is using a media scare about "candy flavored methamphetamine" to attack medical marijuana patients and providers.

Some medical marijuana users are so sick that they are unable to smoke their medicine and must eat it in baked goods or lozenges. They are already breaking federal law and risking prosecution but if S. 258 passes, the penalties they face would double.

hey cali, you ready to fire this bimbo yet?

That's bad news dude.

She's a real bitch.

I'm always amazed with stronghold districts. When you can pick whatever candidate you want, because your party and ideology have absolute control, why do you pick the worst candidates imaginable. Why, for example, does the Dem from WA-7, have to be the dumbest, most inept among the 6 Dem Reps from the state. You'd think it would be someone closer to Norm Dicks or Adam Smith (other Dem reps from WA) caliber.

So what do they do when Prop 19 passes?

BTW - Topper, we'll be voting on this again in 2012. The new restrictions on petitioning onto the ballot made it difficult for this election... but hopefully it will pass this next time.

Wife wants a retirirment state without Blastfurnace heat and Humidity.
Cali and Co are tops on the list so far.
I'm thinking Santa Cruz area or Fort Collins Co

Ft. Collins is nice, but you might want to look at Telluride. Awesome weather, skiing readily available (some of the best ever)...
