Because they have ignored those issues and focused on bailouts and further weakening our already delicate financial situation they are now going to lose seats. Independents, many of them small l libertarians, will turn against them. Many in their base will become disillusioned and their turnout will suffer. No worries, once the Tea Party fizzles out into the same old same old big government Republican policies, Democrats will once again be able to convince the boobocracy that they care about civil liberties.
