That's just political myopia on your part. It's born of TDS and your innate hatred of Trump. By the same measure you used, the US moved hard Left in the last 4 years under Biden and the pendulum of politics is now singing back to the Right because of how shit the Left fucked things up.
China is fascist today. They can call themselves whatever they want. N. Korea claims they're a "democracy."
China is nationalist. It is socialist and practices heavy handed statist capitalism. It is highly racist and more than willing to commit pogroms against ethnic groups it doesn't like or agree with, like the Uyghurs. Fascism is clearly defined as a socialist nation typically using statist capitalism as their form of socialism that practices nationalism and is often expansionist. That fits China perfectly.
Communism is usually internationalist and practices socialism in the traditional sense that word is used--state control of the economy directly rather than indirectly as in statist capitalism.

The only real difference between fascism and communism is that fascists are also nationalists. Communists long for a more global communist world. China cares about China.

I did...today. And I was hitting the ball further than I have in years. I mentioned the Trump association to my playing partners (2 favor him a lot and one is more like me with regard to him)...and we got a laugh out of it.

Operating like China's economy? Why would we wreck our economy by doing that? What should we borrow from their economic decisions and methods that improves ours?
Their economy is not built on a lie. It is built on a number of things, including socialism...and a healthy acknowledgement that free enterprise is a great way to strengthen an economy. They were not afraid to say that they were wrong excluding that feature.

I think the government should do with doctors (who want to participate...not compelled) what they do with military officers. Put candidates through medical school (paying them a modest salary to attend)...and then have as a return, a set duration of service in clinics and hospitals where they work for a decent salary. To get this started, I would tell current graduates who might want to participate that the government will pay their entire education debt...and then they have to enroll in the program to service people who need the socialized aspect.
Those people who have no other access to medical care could use the socialized aspect...peole who have the bucks to go to doctors not doing that service...can use whom they can afford.
That is borrowing...NOT CHANGING TO CHINA'S SYSTEM.
