Fake doctor jailed for giving breast exams in bars

SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) – An Idaho judge has set bond at $100,000 for a Boise woman police say posed as a physician and duped at least two other women into having their breasts examined by her at Boise-area nightclubs.

Kristina Ross, 37, remains in Ada County Jail in Boise on two felony counts of practicing medicine without a license.

Police say Ross introduced herself to victims -- one at a downtown Boise bar and the other at a nightclub in a Boise suburb -- as a plastic surgeon named Berlyn Aussieahshowna, a name that turned out to be bogus.

The two women told Boise officers they believed Ross was a physician because of her apparent medical knowledge, and they agreed to undergo what they thought were breast exams, which happened at the bars

Two felony counts? Are you f'ing kidding? Do you know how many men would have felonys on their record if claiming to be a doctor of love to women was prosecuted?

The article notes, "The court on Wednesday found Ross was eligible for a public defender and set a preliminary hearing on the two felony charges for December 1. If convicted, Ross could face a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 for each count."

Considering two women were involved and Ross examined both breasts on each woman it appears two breasts count a one felony charge. I wonder why each breast doesn't merit it's own charge.

interesting...it could be that the elements for sexual assault in that state do not provide for that type of conduct...

the women consented to her, as a doctor, touching them...she however is not a doctor...i would have to see their law on sexual assault

appears they do not even have a category for this kind of touching...and it doesn't fit under battery....i'm surprised that adultery and fornication are actually illegal in idaho...:eek3:

Consent was fraudulently obtained so it ceases to be consent. The real question is how fucking stupid do you have to be to believe someone in a bar is a doctor and then LET them examine your breasts. If this was a man there would be more charges.

I'm just being dramatic here but what if a girl said she gave consent because a man said he loved her and then she finds out he doesn't really love her he just said it to get in her pants? Could consent be considered fraudulently obtained?

Suppose she said she was a member of the Bar Association and she wanted take their particulars down, is that consent?

i don't believe that is accurate, you can still have consent even if by fraud...
