Fact Check: USAID Did NOT Spend Over $8 Million On Politico, LLC

They paid their American employees several hours late, due to what they claim is a clerical error. It is not unusual for pay to be delayed by several hours, but in the current atmosphere everyone is worried.

I have been in companies that have a problem meeting payroll, and the delays in getting paid is not measured in hours, but in weeks. If they can meet payroll within a few hours, that is not a problem meeting payroll, that is a problem getting the funds in the right place at the right time.

Politico makes over $4 billion a year in revenue. $44k is nothing to them. It is literally 0.001% of their revenue. ExxonMobile just increased its payments to Politico by $17 million, so even if the entire US Government stops buying their services, they are still ahead.

Wrong again Waltdunce. It was nothing but a bunch of wishful thinking. Of course, when you are a brain-dead leftist, you like massive government waste and corruption.
USAID bought a service from Politico for $22k a year. That service involved data about energy, agriculture, and the environment. That data would have cost more to collect directly.

I know this is all difficult for you to understand, but those are the facts. The more customers a intelligence company has, the less the data costs to buy.
