Supporters of Rep. Ilhan Omar are urging Facebook and Twitter to suspend President Donald Trump’s accounts after the president posted a video attacking the Minnesota Democrat.

“We don’t have to give hate a platform,” a new petition states.

Launched Saturday by the Women’s March, it accuses the president of “inciting violence and engaging in hate speech” through the “propaganda video targeting Congresswoman Omar” he posted Friday which uses an out-of-context phrase Omar said in reference to 9/11.


right on, and let's ban HateTV like Fox and Hate radio as well like Fatbo, this isn't Nazi Germany for christ sakes

BTW Billy without those protections this site would have to be shot down, there's no way that damo could withstand the legal liability. But you'd rather worship your leader.

The law applies to everyone. And the rules apply to everyone. Citizen Trump is not exempt from the rules of private organizations just because of the delusion on the part of him and others that he is the lawful president.

They're public forums, they should conform to the law rather than get special exemption.
 
I am amazed how Democrats frequently want to silence any views they don't agree with.

FB and Twitter would never do this. To even ask is just plainly absurd.

Democrats seem to not enjoy free speech.

Facebook regularly bans people who post anti-trump stuff. It is being run by far right white supremacists. How else do you explain why they allowed a video of a white supremacist slaughtering 50 muslims in a mosque to be shared around the world?
