Ex-GOP strategist suggests Trump has no chance of winning the 2024 presidential election based on midterm election results

Scott Jennings made his prediction based on the early results of the 2022 midterm elections.
Many Trump-backed Republican candidates underperformed in Tuesday's midterm elections.

A conservative political commentator and ex-GOP strategist suggested that former President Donald Trump has zero chance of winning the 2024 presidential election — should he run — based on the early results of the 2022 midterm elections.

"How could you look at these results tonight and conclude Trump has any chance of winning a national election in 2024?" Scott Jennings, a former advisor to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, said in an early Wednesday tweet.

Trump had endorsed more than 330 GOP candidates running for both state and federal office in this election cycle, and a much-anticipated "red wave" failed to quickly materialize in Tuesday's midterm elections.

Yet you ignorant fools continue to whine because he might announce his candidacy. The logic you clowns exhibit makes no sense.

I think they are completely wrong. They assume a sane electorate. Good luck with that.

Joe! We know! Shhhhhhhhh

Run Trump Run!

(it will be fun)

The sane electorate wants twump to run to watch the funny clown show.

My hope is that Trump is under indictment, but that won't deter the cult. In fact it may embolden them. They are too stupid to realize they did incredible damage to the GOP in the midterms. They can just use the cheating excuse. It's like trying to apply logic to religious beliefs. 'God appeared as a burning bush in the desert'. Oh, okay, that makes sense.

I do kind of relish the DeSantis/Trump foodfight (which Trunp will win), but the thought that he would have any shot at the White House scares me.

I know. The MAGAs are ignorant and low-minded. And like all ignorant people they operate on fear and superstition, like elevating fat, reality show star to a "god".

It's just amazing what Trump has gotten these MAGA morons to swallow and how much he's grifted from them.

Donald J. Trump Pays Court-Ordered $2 Million For Illegally Using Trump Foundation Funds*

Trump Ordered to Pay Eight Separate Charities $250,000 Each
Remaining $1.8 Million in Trump Foundation Bank Account Disbursed Among Charities

NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James today released the following statement after Donald J. Trump was forced to pay more than $2 million in court-ordered damages to eight different charities for illegally misusing charitable funds at the Trump Foundation for political purposes:
“Not only has the Trump Foundation shut down for its misconduct, but the president has been forced to pay $2 million for misusing charitable funds for his own political gain. Charities are not a means to an end, which is why these damages speak to the president’s abuse of power and represent a victory for not-for-profits that follow the law.

Trump’s campaign suckered donors out of tens of millions of dollars. The scam was not complicated. When people gave them money online, the donations came with pre-checked boxes authorizing the campaign to take donations every single week. They needed to uncheck the box to stop the automatic transfer. At first the auto-checked box simply said, “Make this a recurring monthly donation.” Then it added, “Make this a recurring weekly donation until 11/3,” with a second box below it, with even more text, authorizing an additional one-time $100 donation on September 29. Ultimately, the messages included two text-heavy boxes, filled with boldfaced, all-caps slogans, with a much less conspicuous line at the bottom informing whoever had made it through this mini op-ed that they were authorizing the campaign to drain their bank account.

I feel like America was at a crossroads yesterday. One path was Trump's, and led to a place that was pretty dark. But we veered off onto the other path, which is much sunnier and hopeful (regardless of which party wins future elections).

Trump will whine and cry and scream, but fewer & fewer will listen now. That party should move on from him, and all indications are that they will. He's a loser.

Yep, the trump crime family, if not in jail, will be paying fines for the rest of their lives.
