What type of "idiot" does not realize that the climate changes? :palm: What is not real is man made Global Warming and the suggestion that man can change the weather/climate by limiting Carbon output. The climate is documented to be cyclical.

The facts: Its nothing but fear mongering in order to promote a left wing political agenda. If not simply show us the objective scientific evidence of an empirical nature that proves that the climate is changing due to man's carbon footprint. A consensus is not a fact of science. The theory is based upon circular reasoning....and many that support the false premise know that its total BS. https://climatism.wordpress.com/2013/09/08/global-warming-theory-circular-reasoning-at-its-best/

i always understood this to be the issue. One side thinks man has the most effect on climate the other says that it is the earth itself.

Nope.

The wingnut position was not always: "well of course we know the earth is warming and climate is changing....just don't blame humans!"

What a load of crap.

A decade ago the wingnut position was to first deny there was any warming at all.

Then the wingnut position became that a vast, global conspiracy of scientists were faking the dating, perpetrating a hoax, and deliberating falsifying the results. And if anything, that the earth was "cooling". That there certainly was not any global warming.

CLIMATE GATE. Your wingnut position is that there is a global scientific conspiracy to falsify data, a vast conspiracy that only wingnuts have been able to penetrate.

You wingnut climate deniers have been all over the map, and switched it up a full 180 degrees.

You are not allowed, now or ever, to claim that the wingnuts had a perfectly innocent, reasonable and scientifically sound position on this. You all spent over a decade promoting conspiracy theories and denying global warming and climate change.

Actually, the sun is likely the main driver in climate activity.

How many SUV's would fit inside the sun lol?

Anyone who can look back over the past hundred years and take into consideration the constant stream of man-made automobile and factory emissions and various other forms of pollution that have been being pumped NON-STOP AND WORLDWIDE the entire time into the earth's atmosphere, yet still lacks the mental ability to even consider that all of that garbage just might very well be having a negative effect on it, is either a willing dupe of the pro-industry Repugnant Party, or just plain lacks the common sense God gave a turnip.

Carbon dioxide is a pollutant?

If I was a plant I'd cold cock you lol.

"Increasing carbon emissions in the atmosphere are having a warming effect. There is a broad scientific and policy consensus that action must be taken to further quantify and assess the risks.

ExxonMobil is taking action by reducing greenhouse gas emissions in its operations, helping consumers reduce their emissions, supporting research that leads to technology breakthroughs and participating in constructive dialogue on policy options.

Addressing climate change, providing economic opportunity and lifting billions out of poverty are complex and interrelated issues requiring complex solutions. There is a consensus that comprehensive strategies are needed to respond to these risks. "

Exxon

When your masters stop denying it, you last in line online nobody slaves can stop too. :palm:

Yes CO2 is a pollutant under the law.

But if you were actually informed about the topic you would know that, eh?

I understand your bottom line. You would rather see harm come to your grandchildren than admit you were wrong about global warming to anonymous people on the internet you don't know and will never meet

Hey idiot.. the Earth's atmosphere was designed to function with a certain natural CO² level. When you artificially increase that level, it doesn't take a genius to understand the high likelihood of a negative side effect.

But then again, you climate change deniers are as far from geniuses as it gets.

CO2, even in the most extreme global warming scenarios, is a trace constituent in the atmosphere.

It's bad form to move the goal posts. You really know nothing about this topic, eh?

Lead can poison you at trace concentrations.

But if your contention is that a pollution can not occur at trace concentrations, I suggest you convert all the plumbing in your house to lead lined pipe, and enjoy some refreshing, trace concentration lead drinking water. Bon appetite!

The issue really is how much do we contribute. If that is not a correct question to make, then what is the correct question?

One massive volcano changes the climate more than humans do. Massive solar flares change things. Ocean phenomenon like El Nino change the climate more than humans.

I think it is an important question. I am not sure we contribute as much as alarmist think we do.

You moron, who denies the climate changes?

My past posts prove that I believe climate change is real and I believe humans contribute to it. Gomad is just a stupid loser who can't argue himself out of a wet paper bag.

All one has to do is read post 17 to know what a stupid liar Gomad is.

I do believe we contribute, the question is, how much? Read post 17 again and then get back to me.
