We've had threads before addressing the shortcomings of chinese-made products. Here's yet another. I absolutely refuse to buy anything made in China if there's any choice at all, and that includes going without if necessary.

Yeah, at first it was a running joke in my family not to eat anything from China, but we've made a point of buying from elsewhere at every opportunity. I haven't even got a new iPod, although mine needs repair, because much of the components are manufactured there.
