If China invaded Taiwan then the West would be caught with its pants down and given a thorough arse rimming by the CCP. All basic minerals and metals need to be mined outside China, what holds you back are the eco-loonys, Leftys and avaricious lawyers hired by groups like the Sierra Club and Greenpeace to stop any mining of resources.

These fucks dont seem to understand that we dont make much of anything anymore, that even if we were decided to get production back and were capable of it (doubtful) it would take decades to do so.....China played us like a drum.

Most of the minerals and metals maggot wants to mine are needed for products which steepen the anthropogenic global warming curve. His profiteering ilk are inviting you to your own suicide party.

I am just about as pro-nuclear as they come, and I think this is a stupid idea. Maybe extend their lives a little, but keeping them open indefinitely is just stupid. We need to build a new generation of nuclear power plants, not keep 50 to 80 year old nuclear power plants going.

trump lacked the finesse to build new nuclear power plants, and they require a lot of political finesse to build. Hopefully Biden will be able to do it.
