President Barack Obama says he won't accept a plan to avert the so-called fiscal cliff that doesn't ask the wealthy to pay more in taxes.

In Saturday's radio and Internet address, Obama says the election showed support for his approach and Congress can provide certainty by extending tax cuts for middle-class families.

House Speaker John Boehner says Congress should not raise tax rates and instead focus on closing entitlement programs.

I want Boehner to give President Obama absolutely everything he asks for. If he asks for a particular bill to be passed - do it. If he presents a budget like the last two - pass it. Pass only those items personally championed by Obama. Don't pass a bill from the Senate that Obama has not personally and publically approved. When the House passes it, it needs to be stated on the record that President Obama requested it and we will not stand it the way of the people's choice.

Even though the Republican hero said "childrens do learn" (sic), plainly you were a child left behind.

Why, thank you! That was a grave error, and it's funny because I am a stickler over my own spelling and grammar. I generally don't pay attention to others' spelling and grammar as long as I understand the message.

Do you have anything to add re: the content of my post? Or is spelling as deep as things go for you?

How exactly do you think that helps the Republican Party? Do you think it will all go to shit and the nimrods out there will suddenly find Jesus and say "Hey, that Obama Claus really fucked shit up"? That isn't going to happen. The demalquedacrats with their willing accomplices in the media will say "Hey it isn't Obama Claus' fault, it had bipartisan support".

I know there is always the compulsory hand wringing after election losses with everyone having all sorts of "ideas" on what to do. Elections haven't changed. It still comes down to core principles. If the GOP is only going to be demalquedacrat lite, then they will be forever marginalized as they will alienate their base without getting a corresponding increase from those they think they are currying favor to.

They aren't losing women because of abortion. They are losing SINGLE women because SINGLE women are more likely to want gobblement assistance. The GOP wins with married women. Why do you think the demalquedacrat party supports cultural policies that make women sour on marriage? They know that single women are their base.

The GOP isn't losing hispanics because of immigration. If that were the case, Reagan would have won over all of the hispanics after amnesty in 1988. Did that happen? FUCK NO! They are losing hispanics because hispanics love big gobblement with free give aways and they voted for Obama Claus. Why do you think Obama Claus was running ads in Mexico telling the Mexicans how to get food stamps? He wasn't telling them to come here and take watermelon picking jobs Americans don't want to do.

The GOP is filled with a bunch of squishy "moderates" like Scarborough and Boehner and McConnell who have no backbone and love to be praised by the left for bashing conservatives. One of the things I was wrong about in the polls was the independent vote. I saw how Romney was leading with Independents and thought there was no way he could lose. But, what I missed was that todays independents (like me) are former Republicans who have soured on the brand for their big government "compassionate conservatism".

So giving Obama Claus "everything he wants" is nothing more than a recipe for permanent minority status

Hasn't Romney's failed plan has been echoed by Boehner - save the tax cuts for the rich, spend more on the war machine, and end programs conservatives hate?

I guess Boehner didn't get the American voters reaction to that "plan" when multimillionaire Mitt did.

If we fight tooth and nail, we play their game, and get demonized for their failure.

If there is no resistence, they own the fail, and they are going to make a hell of a mess.

No reason to delay the inevitable. I'm going to bring popcorn and a bottle of wine. I'm sorta looking forward to my 99 weeks of unemployment.

I will survive. Really poor people? Not so much. People who lose their homes? Not so much.

When the rich get poorer, do the poor get richer?

I double checked my spelling so as not to distract you. ;)

Those pussies will cave to Obama. They don't want the military cuts. The white trash republicans here will be blindsided just like the crushing election loss. Dumbasses.

Fortunately for the world NO ONE GIVES A FUCK WHAT YOU WANT.

That being the case, why bother saying it?

Why so angry? You just won the election, you should be elated.

Time to get down to the business of you fixing things.

Git R Dun, libtard. You voted for this, you own it now, sucker.

I can't wait to see the results! :rofl2:

I have a new concept, how about Congress working with Obama to do what is right for the USA and trying to forget Party and elections!
