Republican chances of winning the senate would be soooooooooo much better if O'Donnel hadn't won. The going gets tough at 48 seats but after 50 they've basically hit a brick wall. Mike Castle had essentially a 100% chance of winning that seat. O'Donnel's 20 points behind.

Hmm. I call witch discrimination. Just because she made out on a sacrificial altar during her college years we know she repented as she told us she is "master of her domain".

Prediction is now 192-243. It looks as though my rep. in MS-4 may lose to the Republican, but since Gene Taylor essentially votes 100% Republican anyway it's honestly not that much of a loss. However, a lot of his stronger areas remain uncounted and he's only behind like half a percentage point.

Also, weirdly, it looks like Sestak may win in Pennsylvania. But he has to hold onto the lead as a few rural counties are counted.

Reid has pretty much annihilated Angle, the lead in Colorado keeps changing as more results are called, and the good guys have kept a consistent lead in Washington.

Tancredo massively underperformed in Colorado, but Buck seems to have pulled into a stable lead. Maes performed so badly that the Republicans could be relegated to minor party status in Colorado. This leaves the Democrats at about 52 seats, just enough to prevent Bill Nelson and Joe Lieberman from being able to recaucus and change the balance of power in the senate.

Also, interestingly, there could be two independent governors. Lincoln Chaffee (remember him?) is going to be the next governor of RI and Cutler could win in Maine (but he's slightly behind right now).

The Republicans have done about 10-20 seats better in the house than was expected, though.

BTW, Murkowski looks like she's going to retain her seat in Alaska. All Charlie Christ seems to have accomplished in Florida is to split the vote with the Democrats.
