The toast thing was a fuck up by the orchestra.

If George Doubleyews had written the date as 2008 it would have been a source of great amusement and piss taking, in our press anyway. Luckily, President Obamas is still seen as being 'like...awesome' by much of our media and they like his missus, so he got away with it.
