One of the ex-coach pundits (I think PJ Carlisemo) was talking about the "controversy" of KD going to the Warriors, and he was really mystified. He said it's what players have done throughout NBA history, from Kareem to Shaq to LeBron. Said the Dubs should be commended for being able to put together such an historic team.
Kind of gave me a different perspective on it. They didn't break any rules - they just built the best team they could, and KD made the best choice he could have made for himself. How can you criticize that?
I was definitely rooting for the Cavs, but it was a well-deserved 'ship.
