Banking stocks, the US dollar, bond prices and Bitcoin have all crashed as the world stands on the brink of a new financial meltdown. How bad will it be?

California-based Silicon Valley Bank collapsed on Friday morning after it suffered a bank run and capital crisis.

SVB was the second-largest banking failure in US history, yet nobody saw this coming. As recently as Wednesday, all seemed well at the respected bank.

Then it surprised investors with news that it needed to raise $2.25billion (£1.875bn) to shore up its balance sheet, and all hell broke loose.

Terrified depositors and investors raced to pull their money, causing a run on the bank. Yesterday, regulators shut it down before more damage was done.

SVB isn’t the only US financial institutions to go to the wall this month. Its collapse came two days after Federal Reserve member bank Silvergate went into liquidation, after racking up huge losses on crypto trading.

The big question now is how far the contagion spreads.

Let me guess.....Its NOT Bidens fault nor is it ANY Democrats fault, any liberals fault, or any left leaning person or entity in the history of planet Earths fault. It is 100% the fault of right leaning people just as EVERY problem EVER is. That about cover it?

You're such a tedious prick at times, there's the makings of the mother of all financial meltdowns in the offing , it's not certain but the signs are truly ominous. As I've said often, all of those stimulus packages are just fuelling the economic fires.

Some people think that this means the destruction of the business model for small and regional banks....like all of them. Is so then this is a depression....it just started.The reason it started is that regulators refused to do their jobs, they cant be trusted.....every not moron knows this now.
 
We have for a long time been pretending that the elites both know what they are doing and have our bests interests at heart when they clearly dont.

That is ending....this is the wake up...it will be brutal......Buckle Up.....we earned this....this is what failing is.
