A majority of Americans say they disagree with the FBI's decision not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state, according to a new poll.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll, released Monday, found that 56% of American adults disapprove of the FBI's decision, while 35% said they approved. But a majority -- 58% -- also said the issue would not affect their vote in the 2016 presidential election.

I've seen people use polls to justify politicians or the government do something, does the same apply here?
 
Come on. A poll by partisan-divided Americans about an FBI investigation is like asking elementary school children about their opinion on random matrix fluctuations in the spectral distribution of nuclear energy. That poll result may be humorous, even interesting, but certainly far from informative.

The FBI have the facts, most Americans have the hyperbole. The reason this country is a representative republic, instead of a pure democracy is exactly for this reason. Witch burning citizens, and lynching mobs may be inflamed to overturn the rule of law, but don't mistake short term majority opinion with either wisdom or justice.

Look, the FBI bitch-slapped Hillary. Why don't you cons just run with that? You aren't accomplishing your goals with cries for 'majority vengeance' to be wreaked. Show a bit of class and let justice run its course, without partisan excess.

If there was any justice involved, Hillary would have been indicted for her actions......including perjury, just like her husband was.....

and of course the poll is meaningless.....Democrats are super partisan and super stupid
 
I've looked at it carefully, and cannot see any reason why "extreme carelessness" and "gross negligence" are not the same thing under

Comey's testimony, and the Emails themselves show a gross disregard for classification handling by her & her staff.

It's interesting the poll shows that result; more interesting is why the poll isn't almost unanimous that Comey's explanation is a complete disconnect
Considering the utter denial by the Clintonistas that the Emails matter, that is a realistic figure.

It's not even the Emails -it's her judgment and LYING explanations throughout the fiasco that disqualifiers her.

Well, the bitch slapping [what a great metaphor lol] may have political ramifications in an election year. In fact, if Hillary doesn't slip in the polls that doesn't say much for the electorate.

Seagull, Nova is trashing your poll. Don't let the Democrats that hate Hillary influence your opinion that Nova is insane. You were trying to show that public opinion is against the FBI investigation results. Nova is saying that the Democrats, who are very partisan and stupid, were the ones that made your poll inaccurate. Huh? Can't you cons even agree with yourselves? Grin, the electorate? I agree. If she doesn't slip, it won't be because the FBI exonerated her, it will be because the right salivated so much that they thought it was her blood. Throwing a shoe at George W didn't bring him down. But it felt good. Relish it, and wait for the next meltdown, although it just may your reality star.
 
The emails need to be tied to whom Hillary is as a politician in denial who used her server to conceal-as well as her extreme poor judgment as Sec of State.

No you don't, you just want everybody to agree with you. She was without a shadow of doubt culpable and guilty of perjury and gross violation of security procedures and protocols. How can anyone seriously entertain somebody like that being entrusted with state secrets?
