The Obamacare Plan has already begun to have an effect on the number of practicing physicians. An already increasing demand for doctors, is set to peg the charts in the next few years, as doctors flee from the system. I happened to notice Desh earlier, lamenting that we should offer some incentive or program to train new doctors, and it got me thinking about that.
I already have the Psychology degree, I only need to finish my doctorate and then a post-doc, and I can hang my shingle! The only reason I never did this before, was the cost, and the idea of spending the rest of my life listening to other people's problems. I just wanted to do other things more, so I didn't pursue the career path, and the psych degree just kind of helps me to understand liberal pinheads better. But if the Government is going to pay for me to finish becoming a doctor, and I can add that to my resume, I'm all for it!
Hey, can some of you Obama Libs do me a favor? If you hear of anything pertaining to programs for training new docs, let me know about it! I want to try and get on the list early, and I know you guys have the inside skinny. I'm kinda excited about this!!
