Do drug warriors support banning caffeine?

The other day the blithering idiot, USF, posted some crappy story about marijuana eaten by kids supposedly resulting in visits to poison control centers. Another nimrod, patriot666, argued that this was a reason to keep marijuana illegal. Would similar effects be a reason to ban caffeinated beverages?

I don't believe this case has much merit and it is more than likely that the boy suffered from some pre-existing condition or was sensitive to caffeine, but caffeine may have played some small role in his death. If we could compare apples to apples here, I would guess caffeine is far more toxic than marijuana. Do the supporters of the prohibition of marijuana support banning caffeine or these lawsuits?
 
Obama has taken a shit on civil rights of cannabis users.
Republicans are too dumb to pick up a fumble that includes millions of votes.
 
People who oppose marijuana legalization - particularly medicinal marijuana - just look more silly every day.

Morgan Spurlock did a great doc on the whole issue the other night, on his new show "Inside Man" on CNN. in general, major kudo's to CNN on this issue overall (Piers Morgan has also been focusing quite a few shows on it)...

Usually, these trips to the emergency room could be avoided by simply giving the child a snack.

I couldn't believe some of the stats. Obama's admin has been tougher on users (and legit dispensaries) than Bush's, by a wide margin.

Obama's policy is a travesty - I was glad to see CNN put a human face on some of the folks who are going to jail for this. It's really tragic. Obama is owned by big pharma & others who have a big $ stake in keeping it illegal.
 
If Jack & Coke can no longer be made people will be marching in the streets! (well ok it might just be me but I'll be out there)
