“Red states reap inflation bill's green benefits”

“The inflation reduction act, signed by Joe Biden earlier this week, passed without a single GOP vote”

“But red states are likely to see major benefits from its investments in clean energy — just as they have in the past — despite protests by their governors over the climate package. Republican-led states are some of the largest wind and solar energy producers in the U.S. and have benefited greatly from the past decade of expansion — not only through job growth, but through lower ratepayer prices.”

Think they’ll refuse the funds that come with the projects? What’s the chances any of them will give Biden credit while it benefits their citizenry?

Kinda like Red State Socialism, bitch about Federal aid while you rely on it to balance your budget.

 politico? seriously?

Politico is a legitimate source

But regardless, the facts are there, no matter who reports it, the Bill substantially benefits wind and solar power entities, and those States that lead in the production and use of wind/solar are Red States, yet every single Senator from a Red State voted against the Bill. But you can bet your ass those States will not only accept but jump all over what is offered, without giving Biden credit. Chances are the same politicians who opposed it will claim it as theirs when the results are seen

Sounds like the red states are already pursuing policies Biden is pushing.
