I thought it was supposed to be Repubs who pushed for more of this kind of stuff? This is double the cost of the pole tax which was struck down anyway.

"A Brooklyn assemblyman introduced a bill yesterday that would require patrons to pay the state $10 every time they visit a strip club or topless joint.

The funny thing is, I have probably produced dozens of examples of 1 or 2 or a few Dems doing something like this and each time this is the same response. Collectively they are blamed because at some point you have enough examples where it becomes more than just 1 person doing something.

Let's be honest though here, do you really think this Dem would have bothered to introduce this had he not counted on support of others?

I have no doubt that both parties have some perverts moron. What I am talking about is LAWS passed that affect us. Also I call him Liberal because he is from Brooklyn and I am familiar with voting records of Democrats from the northeast.

Some of the things I mentioned WERE laws that get passed.
Did it ever occur to you that the time to get outraged and rebel against shit is BEFORE it even has a chance to build support and pass?

The left always seem to come out with the same defence of the ol' "Oh, well this is just one person, it won't pass" and then if it does pass, what are they gonna say "Oh shit looks like we should have spoken up after all!". Of course not, they wouldn't say anything and just move on.

If you going to claim "democrats" my good brother, then you'd better produce more than one. Not a nebulus suggestion that there must be others, or that he must know some, or that you've seen some before.

Collectively they're blamed because you're not a democrat.

I'm real sure I can produce democrats against this.

I'm not suggesting there shouldn't be conversation on what this one democrat is proposing .. which I don't entirely disgaree or agree with, but let's have an honest discussion about it.
 
Face it, the majority of the more prolific liberal posters here have zero functional brain cells. Their comprehension is limited to "democrat/liberal Good; republican/conservative Bad."

There are a number of so-called conservatives who aren't any better. Makes intelligent dialog on the issues difficult, if not impossible.
