DEMOCRAT says boycott moment of silence for Las Vegas victims; wants gun grab

Seth Moulton, a DEMOCRAT congressman from Taxassachusetts, will boycott a moment of silence in honor of the victims of Sunday's gruesome mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Moulton, a potential contender for the 2020 DEMOCRAT presidential nomination, tweeted that he would "NOT be joining my colleagues in a moment of silence on the House floor that just becomes an excuse for inaction."

Jimmy Kimmel used his show the day after the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada to push for gun control while smearing Republicans for the bloodshed. “They should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country because it’s so crazy,” the emotional Kimmel exclaimed.

There’s no doubt that the liberal media will hold Jimmy Kimmel up as a darling. But very few, if any, will fact check anything he says.

Kimmel clearly doesn’t have a clue about the topic he’s pontificating about.

One of his first lies was that semi-automatic rifles were “not weapons you use for self-defense.” He was either being disingenuous or doesn’t know what he’s talking about, because many owners of such rifles use them for home defense, along with sporting activities.

“You know, in February Trump also signed a bill that made it easier for people with severe mental illness to buy guns legally,” he asserted.

That was a Fake News story that has long been debunked. “The rule would have allowed bureaucrats within one of our federal agencies to bar American citizens from exercising a constitutional right — and on the highly questionable grounds that to be incapable of managing one’s finances is, by definition, to be a ‘mental defective,’” wrote Charles C.W. Cooke for the National Review.

According to Kimmel’s warped reality, they passed it “because the NRA has their balls in a money clip,” but he failed to mention that the liberal ACLU also supported the legislation the GOP passed on civil rights grounds.

“Right now there are loopholes in the law that let people avoid background checks if they buy a gun privately from another party, they buy a gun online, or at a gun show,” Kimmel continued.

Clearly, Kimmel hasn’t done any research outside of ingesting and regurgitating DEMOCRAT Party talking points. If someone is buying a gun online, it must to be sent to a federally licensed gun dealer who runs the background check. And the only people who can sell guns at gun shows are licensed dealers who are required to do a background check.

He then tried to shame the GOP, saying: “These are the faces of Senators - who days after the shooting in Orlando - voted against the bill that would have closed those loopholes. These are the 56 Senators that didn’t want to do anything about that.”

Facts are damned for Kimmel. The Orlando nightclub shooter didn’t buy his guns at a gun show, so how would that have stopped him?

The late-night comedian also pointed out that “90 percent of DEMOCRATS—I’m not talking about politicians, I’m talking about people—and 77 percent of Republicans support background checks at gun shows.”

Which is good, because that’s already what happens. “89 percent of Republicans and DEMOCRATS are in favor of restricting gun ownership for the mentally ill.”

A history of mental illness also comes up in background checks. Kimmel falsely declared that the GOP Senators voted against those things.

DEMOCRAT Hillary Clinton tweeted: “Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.”

Huh? What the hell does a “silencer” have to do with the Las Vegas massacre? Would a suppressor really have “silenced” anything? It was the smoke alarm going off in the killer’s room that enabled the cops to find him, not the loud reports of the rounds.

“We can and must put politics aside,” Hillary continued, “stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.”

As a former first lady, Hillary gets lifetime Secret Service protection. Is she willing to put her money where her mouth is, and give up her armed bodyguards?

Democrats, liberals, find another straw to grasp at, then, as so many times before realize they got nothing.

We have a deranged mad-man that decided to kill as many people as he could, guns, knives, explosives, grenades, vehicle, spear gun, bazooka, poison, etc.
Not sure it would have mattered to have outlawed any one of them
