Here’s the truth about the Trump administration. As much as they can on issues they don’t like, they are trying to bury information. They are disbanding agencies, eliminating personnel or making information more difficult to obtain. Things like vaccine availability and efficacy, storm tracking and prediction, inflation numbers, unemployment, immigration info, EBD eligibility and usage, flu and covid tracking, on and on.
Valid policy decisions depend on accurate and timely information. But, Trump isn’t interested in good public policy. Only his own agenda which flies in the face of the truth. So, what does he do? Tries to eliminate access to the truth and concoct his own.
That’s what authoritarians do. And his cult followers buy it.
