Democrats Are Going To Cave, You Can Feel It

Democrats are continuing to implode. They can't maintain a united front because, without any leadership, the backstabbing has already begun from all sides. Chuck Schumer, who once called all the shots from the Senate, is about to be kicked to the curb by the mob of progressives who are circling like sharks smelling blood. They all want their shot, they all want to move up a peg, and they all believe Schumer has outlived his usefulness. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making her move. All this signals that even more Democrat voters will get fed up with the disaster on the left and change sides.

Look for the BIG CAVE from the Democrats, as 430,000 Democrat government civilians BEG Schumer and Jeffries to just end the shutdown before they lose their jobs to Trump's layoff plan. Once this happens, look for Democrats to emphatically BLAME Schumer for the disastrous result before the Republican opposition.

Democratic Senate candidates have begun distancing themselves from Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), stressing the need for younger leadership. Several have pledged to oppose Schumer and withheld support during ongoing funding talks. At least eleven Democratic candidates have reportedly opposed him, while others have remained noncommittal.

I remember back in 2016 I thought Trump was destroying the Republican Party.
Like most everybody else, I underestimated him.
He’s almost single handedly destroying the democratic party.

He is an absolute master and getting them to take the bait. Its almost as if they cant stop themselves. He simply sets the conditions then sits back and watches them destroy their own party and themselves. Its hilarious to watch him play them for imbeciles over and over and over again.

The “mob” is very popular right now because they are the one talking to Americans and listening as well. The “mob” is winning special elections. The “mob” will win elections in 2026.
 
@IBDaMann Yes, Team Democrat will cave (or should I say "blink"? ... or should I say "chicken out"?) in short order. I'm kind of intrigued that they even forced the shutdown to happen in the first place (to their own detriment), but once the cries from "their own" to reopen the government become too loud, they'll fold like a cheap tent. I give it a week or two tops. "Two weeks to stop the spread"?

They HAVE to realize that the OBBB has already been passed and signed into law, right? They HAVE to realize that the longer they remain in "shutdown mode", the more painful Trump and Vought will make life for them, right?

This whole "to shutdown or not to shutdown" situation was a "win-win" for Team MAGA from the start. I'm thoroughly ENJOYING this ride! :)
