Elections have consequences. Instead of shutting the government down and allowing Trump free rein to shut down and keep shut down whatever parts he likes while blaming the Democrats for shutting down the government, the Democrats still have the filibuster and the ability to block a 60% vote.

IMO, they should be focused upon 2026 and 2028 not eating each other alive.

One you hit 70 you should not be able to run another Senate campaign. Period. Finish your 6 year term and go away. In that way, we'll see a lot more get done. Only retiring Congresspeople actually represent the people instead of special interests.
