Defending his 2020 fraud claims, Trump turns to fringe Jan. 6 theories

Trump’s attorneys said in a court filing that, unlike rioters who claim that informants or undercover agents spurred them to commit crimes, the former president is “not seeking to establish that he was induced to engage in the charged conduct” by the government. Instead he wants to argue that the violence occurred because of law enforcement’s loss of control and “failed sting operations rather than any directions from President Trump.”

Mr. Trump, why did you call a rally on the day you knew the Capitol was closed.

Now he is using it to circulate a new set of falsehoods: that the federal government staged or incited violence at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to discredit Trump and his supporters."

Not enough. It was a rally as close to the capitol as he could get. It was on the same day the electoral college votes were being certified, so the House and Senate were there. And of course at tha exact time the votes were being certified. This insurrection was planned by Trump.

Absolutely. Trump told an armed mob to fight like hell and march to the Capitol.

There was no 2020 election. That election faulted due to election fraud by DEMOCRATS.

Electoral college votes are not certified in January. There was no electoral college in 2020 since seven States never chose their electors.
The riots were planned by DEMOCRATS, specifically Nancy Pelosi, and used violent DEMOCRAT groups to implement it as well as federal agents to coordinate it.

The coup by DEMOCRATS was successful, installing Joe Biden as Chief Puppet.

It's so sad there are two realities now. Actual reality and the lies the trump faithful believe. One of them is that trump hold's what's good for America over what's good for he and his family. So sad.
