So trump has appointed David Geier to study the supposed link between autism and vaccines. Just to remind everyone, it has been studied repeatedly, and there is no link.
But back to who David Geier is. He claims to be a doctor, based on his father, Mark Geier, being a doctor... sort of. David Geier does not have a medical degree, or any type of graduate degree. He has a BA(not even a BS) in biology. His father had a medical license, but lost it. They were both prosecuted for practicing medicine without a license.
Both Geiers were militantly against vaccination. Mark Geier recently died, but as far as I can tell, his son is still militantly against vaccination.

As part of his unlicensed medical practice, Geier "treated" autism through chemical castration using severe overdoses of the drug Lupron. The makers of Lupron have tried to keep him from getting access to their drug, because there is no proof it does anything to autism.

The Griers proposed chemically castrating all unmarried men, as part of a morals control policy by the government. They believe it would be reversible after marriage. No word on why men who have no sexual drive would get married...
I am sure it is worse than this. It may sound weird to say that, but if he made this much public, I am betting there are much worse things he has kept private.
