That would be an illegal order, Trump ordering our military to take Greenland by force and a NATO ally too?!! I would hope our military would refuse this order too?!! But if they didn't and took Greenland by force, America would be alone in world with no allies or friends with the exception of Israel.

The US military is obligated to follow lawful orders from the President of the United States. However, military personnel are also bound by the Uniform Code of Military Justice to refuse orders that are illegal or unethical.

The word is lawful, ordering an attack on Greenland would not be an unlawful order too?!!

The Danes allowed US military bases in Greenland under the auspices of a relatively sane historic US presidency.
Now the Danes- and other countries- can see the foolhardiness of that.
