do you think it could ever happen? why or why not...

imo, i believe our elections help quell such uprisings. further, our country is vastly larger in size and contains many more ideologues than egypt's fairly homogeneous muslim population.

Could it happen? Absolutely. Granted it's much more likely to be localized as we have a very very large country, but it's not beyond the scope of plausibility.

Me and you embracing one another, in a rented church basement, and swearing never to touch alcohol again, is plausible (in some sort of alternate universe, perhaps) but not that likely (unless i don't know you at all, and we have been living a lie for these past few years, you charlatan whore!).

what local areas do you see this happening? i agree on the nationwide scale, we are simply to large of a nation, made up of many diverse locals. east coast, west coast and the all the idiots in the middle :D

Any city would be capable. Detroit is famous for it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chicago go for riots. And L.A.. D.C. too.
