And they should have started doing that already.I can't wait for the pricing in all retail stores lists the tariff cost on the signs above the products.
I remember the old days when gas pumps showed the price per gallon, and then Fed/State taxes. And they should have started doing that already.
People need to be able to see just what Trump and his tariffs is costing them.
I have read it could be any where from 2300 to over 4000 dollars a year for a family of four.
I'm against coordinated price gouging, but that's illegal and that's not the topic of the thread.I wasn't being specific. You clearly are against corporations making too high a profit.
A capitalist is not a socialist, Sybil. Go learn English.^^^ Communist.

Let's add in federal, state, local, and other taxes and fees as well. People will revolt if you do that, particularly in blue states...And they should have started doing that already.

You still have no concept of price discovery, do you?I'm against coordinated price gouging, but that's illegal and that's not the topic of the thread.
You think profit is evil, Sybil. You'll be hard pressed to find any post from me demanding American companies sacrifice profitability by just eating the cost of taxes.
What blunders, Blat???It sure sounds like you're desperate if you have to post such pointless tripe in an attempt to deflect attention away from Crazy Trump's blatant blunders.
You idiot just have no idea of price discovery. That's the problem with being socialists. And they should have started doing that already.

I think it would shock the people in red states more then the blue. and if the red states have to raise taxes to cover damage form hurricanes and other things seeing FEMA isn't going to have it to give them in the near future they will be really pissed.Let's add in federal, state, local, and other taxes and fees as well. Most red states have low population density--most--and don't suffer widespread damage from weather. I'd also say that rural Americans are far less dependent on the government to rescue them from some "disaster" than city dwelling blue state people are.I think it would shock the people in red states more then the blue. and if the red states have to raise taxes to cover damage form hurricanes and other things seeing FEMA isn't going to have it to give them in the near future they will be really pissed.
List them all and see who starts to cry the most.
