Colbert addresses Congress

No. Undignified, unbecoming and crass was cheney throwing a hissy fit in Congress and telling Pat Leahy to go and f*ck himself.

Exactly which part of this do you disagree with, Dixie?

I'll take humor in Congress over anger any day of the week.

You sorta remind me of cheney, though. A pair of hotheads who lose self-control when they're challenged.

Congress is full of comedians doing their bits and the video records are full of them!

Congress people make a mockery of Congress, it isn't the hallow halls you wish it to be! Like someone pointed out, Cheney cursed there on a regular basis and always appeared in character as Darth Cheney?

LOL, he won't complain about Elmo, either, because it was that repub crook Randy Cunningham who brought him in to testify.

I think it was undignified and unbecoming the United States Congress. It made a complete joke of the process of Congressional hearings to have this clown testify IN CHARACTER! Who ever heard of such nonsense? Yeah, he was funny, but Congress is not the place to be yucking it up at the taxpayers expense. Especially not in light of all the SERIOUS problems we are currently facing. It was a sham, a mockery, and a joke... just like the democrats who orchestrated this buffoonery!

can't actually refute his words huh....

nothing but ad homs is a sign of weakness and that you've lost

You people can try and defend having Colbert testify all day long, but at the end of the day, Congress operates on the public dime. Last I checked, there were still people in need of that money, as well as a public which owns that money. Furthermore, the wealthy Congressmen could probably afford to pay him outta pocket...
