is stepping up her criticism of Donald Trump, accusing him of inciting violence and aligning himself with hateful supporters.

"I do really believe we are stronger together. But I also accept the responsibility, making sure that we do everything we can to try to heal these divides to bring people together," the Democratic presidenital nominee told the "Tom Joyner Morning Show" in an interview airing Thursday.

"But it starts by standing up and calling out the bigotry and the hatred that we see coming from Trump. He has incited violence and he has been more than willing to align himself with the so-called alt-right and every deplorable thing they represent."

Clinton accused Trump of accepting the support of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Due. The GOP nominee faced criticism earlier this year for not immediately disavowing Duke, though he eventually did. Trump's running mate, Mike Pence earlier this week declined to call Duke "deplorable."

She also cited Trump's attacks on a federal judge over his Mexican heritage, as well as his feud with the parents of a slain Muslim Army captain.

"I’m going to keep calling out the bigotry and hateful rhetoric that he’s brought to this campaign," Clinton said, "because I don’t think you can make our country great by tearing people down."

Clinton said she talks about the importance of love and kindness. She said the country needs to serve people who come from all different backgrounds and noted she won't tolerate discrimination.

"We are not people of hate and we are not people who condone this violence," Clinton said.

"I want to be the president of everybody, not just people who agree with me or people who vote for me."

slamming your opponents voters as "deplorables" isn't uniting -it's sanctimonious and divisive.
But hey. Go ahead and double down on that, while running a negative campaign devoid of hope.

She has no reason to vote for her - she doesn't inspire ,it's just platforms and deplorables

Trump needs to remind voters about leaked DNC emails that showed Clinton supporters posing as Bernie supporters to disrupt Trump rallies.

Many Clinton supporters have shown vile hatred and bigotry. I wonder if she thinks she should call them out?

After almost a year of meeting with Black Lives Matter representatives, Clinton failed to garner the support of the movement’s co-founder Alicia Garza, but she managed to receive the endorsement of mothers championed by the Black Lives Matter movement.

Garza recently slammed Clinton, saying the former secretary of state only “uses black people for votes” and “photo ops,” but doesn’t “do anything for black communities” after getting elected.

Nevertheless the Clinton-Kaine campaign touts the support she received during the Democratic National Convention from mothers of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Clinton previously came out in support of BLM last July when speaking to a crowd in South Carolina. "It is essential that we all stand up and say loudly and clearly, 'Yes, black lives matter,'" she said.

Is Hillary that much of a pinhead that she thinks she is not supporting violence, ie. murder of policemen, by supporting BLM ?

it's all she has. all she can do is claim violent deplorables are gonna takeover the country. she's doubling down on deplorables while adding in violence

White nationalists are attempting to seize control of my country and destroy it. That is the accurate label of events, that is the only way they can be described accurately. I'm sorry you want to police my speech with this politically correct nonsense, forbidding me from calling racists racist. I'll tell it like it is, I want bow to your political correctness. Fascist.

In 1942 we went to war against the kind of people you're trying to elect, Annata. You're a fascist, bigot, racist, and a traitor.

the whole ist thing would be a lot more persuasive if you didnt do it to literally everyone that you go against. heck even in the primaries clinton was trying to paint bernie as anti-woman for going against her and racist because minorities werent voting for him.

You gotta laugh at the Hillary backers.....ist this and ist that.....imagine all the ist's names they coined in the last few years....

Its all they've got....conjecture and name calling....so deshlike (I'm beginning to miss her insane rants)

It's been said that 'throwing everything but the kitchen sink' goes back to the days when a castle would be under siege for an extended period. So after the bow and arrows were depleted, the inhabitants were forced to start throwing whatever they could lay their hands on over the wall. They didn't have sinks back then but you get the idea.

That's the Hillary campaign right now---throwing everything at Trump but the kitchen sink.

If the election were held today, it would be close. The problem is their campaign can be said to be in collapse with six weeks before the election. If they aren't in a panic, they're close to it.

If it stays this way they will only become more shrill.
