And, the get ignored. VW just turned off the lights, turned off the heat, and locked the doors...

A group of nine scientists have glued themselves to the floor of Volkswagen’s Autostadt facility in Germany to protest climate change.

Unfortunately for members of the ‘Scientific Rebellion’ activist group when it came time to close up for the night, VW locked the doors and switched off the lights and heating.

According to the protestors, the carmaker supported their right to protest but neglected to give them ‘a bowl to urinate and defecate in a decent manner while we are glued.’

As well as gluing themselves to the floor of the showroom – which sits next to the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg, some of the activists are undergoing a hunger strike.

So, they get to sit in a puddle of their own excrement, in the dark, and in the cold, while the world ignores them...

FURTHER PROOF THAT CLAIMING TO BE A "SCIENTIST", IS NOT NECESSARILY A STANDARD FOR HIGHER INTELLIGENCE, AS THE CLIMATISTA/WARMISTS HAVE PROVEN FOR YEARS.
 
VW's decision rocks. Maybe in a couple of weeks they can get some people in to clean up the bodies.

My aim here is not to judge tactics as right or wrong. Any tactic can be the right one to use in the right context. Our planet must be saved by any means necessary. If this requires gluing oneself to a museum wall, so be it. If it takes throwing food at a painting, bravo. It may even entail burning a museum down altogether. (This is something the renowned artist activist Alfredo Jarr once did in Skoghall, Sweden in order stimulate the citizenry’s desire to demand a real museum – and it worked!)

But the means must always lead to the desired ends.

Good, I don't have even an ounce of sympathy for the buggers.

Eco morons are arrested after gluing themselves to floor of German Volkswagen factory...then pleading for medical treatment because their hands were sore and they couldn't go to the toilet.

They vowed to continue their protest until Volkswagen agreed to lobby ministers to decarbonise the transport industry.

But they began complaining after just a few hours that they had no food and staff had refused to bring them a bowl to defecate in.

Gianluca Grimalda, who had declared he was on hunger strike, then began complaining his hand - which he had covered in superglue and stuck to the floor - was swollen and said medics warned him he was at risk of blood clots.

After just a day of protest he agreed to leave for medical treatment and was arrested, before riot police moved in to round up the rest of the demonstrators.

I think, perhaps, that I'll join the Extinction Rebellion movement and show them how to effectively sabotage a climate-denier government while enlisting the support of the masses.

Anybody got any good non-violent sabotage ideas ?
