Climate Change Hoax No Win for Cons!

Now that the scandalous truth has emerged regarding 'global warming', and the fraud has been uncovered, most of the credible climatologists who concurred with the theories, are now reevaluating their positions. Of course there will be those who will cling to hope, and continue to advance the theory, there is too much money at stake, literally trillions of dollars, as a matter of fact.

It's important for those of us on "the right" not to get too caught up in this, and think it is some kind of victory. They won't go away! We will be hearing these same idiots preaching to us about what they believe, until we are in our graves. Just look at the nitwits here, stammering and stuttering around the fact that they no longer have a scientific basis for their beliefs, and attempting to make it a "fact" by virtue of speculation. Someone thinks it may be likely... so therefore, it must be fact! That's the logic we are faced with here.

They continue to hurl insulting names at those who don't subscribe to their faith, as if it is our fault the data and science doesn't support their view. It's really amazing to watch. WE are the knuckledraggers? WE are the flat-earthers? WE are the science-deniers? No, it's the other way around. It is the Warmers who have adopted a faith-based viewpoint, and no amount of science is going to change their liberal minds about it!

Yes, we will have to continue to hear about this, as they cling to some hope that maybe some 'scientist' will find some new revelation, some detail that was previously overlooked, some mysterious study that appeared from the lost archives... something to reinvigorate the 'movement' and spring this all back to life again. In the meanwhile, they will continue to hurl insulting names, insist that speculation is fact, and push forward with their trillion dollar agenda. We haven't "won" anything but another era of liberal bullshit.

Dixie. many on the right are fully on board with creating new markets (casinos) by monetizing the atmosphere, and the big business of "directed" economies and vat tax collection. clean your own house, neocon.

mccain was for all this shit.

Yes, we are going to wait for a pioneer to develop a weather service, and every day it can give us whatever amout of sunlight, precipitation, windspeed, windchill, etc. that we need. LOLZ

I actually don't see a lot of AGW arguing anymore. I still see libs pushing for alts, but they're using pollution, national security & the economy as the basis for their arguments.

I do not, however, live in Dixieland....

If you look on this board you still see those like Cypress and Taichi promoting AGW and getting all up in a tizzy when you point out what has actually been going on. Cypress still shouts consensus every chance he gets. Despite Jones comments, despite the 'errors' by the IPCC etc....

When you look to the media, there are still those who have too much at stake trying to pretend that all is well with their theory. Stories like 'despite the errors, the science is still valid' type pieces... I believe the left wing rag Times ran a piece like that just a few days ago.

I even stated my position that we need to focus on reducing pollution, reducing dependency on foreign energy, investing more in alt/clean energy research.... only to hear from Taichi that my position was just 'drill baby drill' and 'maintain the status quo'.

You should join those threads, because they seem to think it is just 'right wing blogs and their followers' that think the fear mongering is coming to light.

I can't believe that they still say that the data is all out there when even Jones admits that his data is "just gone"... He doesn't have it and apparently cannot rebuild it.

The thing is, even if the data was correct, or it was clear as day that man was causing or significantly contributing to global warming, none of the measures being presented - from Kyoto on - would make an iota of difference.

They're token, "feel good" measures. If we really are a significant contributor to the effect - and I don't think that has been either proven or disproven - we'd basically have to go cold turkey now to make a difference 100 years from now. And we're not going cold turkey now, or even a small % cold turkey, even if the most stringent measures were to actually pass, in every country on the planet.

True. I do, however, believe that if it is correct we'll find a way to do what is necessary when it becomes necessary. That's what we do. We work better with a deadline. And regardless of whether it is correct we should work on polluting less because it is healthier, we should work on our own energy creation because it is better for our security and economy.

I completely agree, though I would add that - while we do respond & do what's necessary - if a true oil shortage presents itself mid-century, as some suggest - we need to prepare for that. And transitioning from oil is not something we could do in a few years.

I think it's mostly due to remaining uninformed. If you think science is settled, why would you continue to learn more about the tiny flaws (from warmer perspective)?

They truly believe we are done learning about the climate.

That is the most problematic element of all. Science

Nope, that's why I promote transitioning to natural gas for the interim. We have plenty and can provide for ourselves, creating jobs for the US, creating more security... We need to actually work towards nuclear energy, not just loans. The regulations still stand in the way.

Now that the scandalous truth has emerged regarding 'global warming',

That it's happening?

and the fraud has been uncovered,

No fraud has been uncovered.

most of the credible climatologists who concurred with the theories, are now reevaluating their positions.

More strongly in favor of the fact of global warming, something we know with as much certainty as gravity.

Of course there will be those who will cling to hope, and continue to advance the theory, there is too much money at stake, literally trillions of dollars, as a matter of fact.

From the oil companies who you serve.

It's important for those of us on "the right" not to get too caught up in this, and think it is some kind of victory.

How could you consider a catastrophic defeat like this a victory?

They won't go away!

The truth never goes away.

We will be hearing these same idiots preaching to us about what they believe,

Evidence, science, rational inquiry...

until we are in our graves.

Which will hopefully be soon.

Just look at the nitwits here, stammering and stuttering around the fact that they no longer have a scientific basis for their beliefs, and attempting to make it a "fact" by virtue of speculation. Someone thinks it may be likely... so therefore, it must be fact! That's the logic we are faced with here.

Global warming isn't likely, it's certain. You can choose to willfully ignore the evidence, because it displeases the oil companies whom you serve (I wouldn't be surprised if you were on their payroll), but it doesn't change the absolutely certain fact of global warming.

They continue to hurl insulting names at those who don't subscribe to their faith,

My faith in evidence and rational inquiry? Your faith in anything and everything that has no evidence for it and is unreasonable?

as if it is our fault the data and science doesn't support their view.

If you mean its your fault that you keep on saying that absurd, untrue statement, then yes, it is your fault. All the evidence ever produced on global climate change supports this theory.

It's really amazing to watch. WE are the knuckledraggers? WE are the flat-earthers? WE are the science-deniers?

It's good your finally getting around to admitting this.

It is the Warmers who have adopted a faith-based viewpoint, and no amount of science is going to change their liberal minds about it!

Because any science would confirm our position, as it already has, with absolute uncertainty. This is the most certain theory in human history. It's more certain than the existence of 1/3. To not realize its existence, you must either be a traitor on an oil companies payroll, or schizophernic.

Yes, we will have to continue to hear about this, as they cling to some hope that maybe some 'scientist' will find some new revelation, some detail that was previously overlooked, some mysterious study that appeared from the lost archives...

Why would they need to do that? The thoery is already proven. I suppose you can never get enough evidence, but it doesn't make much of a difference one way or the other.

something to reinvigorate the 'movement' and spring this all back to life again.

The movement? You mean science?

In the meanwhile, they will continue to hurl insulting names, insist that speculation is fact, and push forward with their trillion dollar agenda. We haven't "won" anything but another era of liberal bullshit.

And a huge fat paycheck from your corporate masters.

False. You don't know what will happen with certainty. It's not true that the only effective solution is immediately going cold turkey.

I've not ever said that "global warming" was not certain. It is certainly certain! Just as "global cooling" is certain, and they certainly come and go in patterns. Those are scientifically proven facts. Whether man-made global warming happens, is quite a different animal.... A rainbow colored one resembling a horse with a horn!

Sorry, but that is what the evidence shows, and you can't change this. You tried... but like you said, the TRUTH always prevails, and your frauds were outed. So now you have no support for your theory... none... nadda! It is now YOU who is contradicting what science says, refusing to accept the truth as science has revealed, because you are a socialist nitwit who wants to drag America back to 1938 Berlin. So why don't you move on and shut up? There are too many SMART people who are on to your little game with this, and it's over now. No "carbon offset tax" to burden industry and capitalism... no taxing corporations and regulating them into bankruptcy, and no taking the freedom of Americans to adjust their thermostats as they wish! Too bad... so sad!
