Clean debt ceiling increase!

Looks like a smart GOP move to me.

Now the Democrats won't be able to use the debt ceiling increase as a campaign issue in the midterms.

If the GOP keeps the House and takes the Senate...
 
If the GOP goes along now and retakes Congress, they'll be free to challenge Obama from a position of strength. All he'll have is the veto.

Is that because the voters would not like it if the Republicans did what they claimed they are going to do.
 
If the GOP gets enough seats in the House and Senate next November, Obama will be in a tough spot, and the Democrats won't have too much to bargain with, will they?

Your correct, if the Republicans trick enough voters by waiting until after the election, they will have more power to do the things the voters would have disapproved of .

So maybe we should eliminate the debt ceiling and keep borrowing and borrowing and borrowing and borrowing and borrowing.

Do you think this can keep up forever? Do you even make any pretense about actually lowering the debt or is it spend spend spend?

Do you operate your personal finances the way the gobblement does?

So if the Reps agree to a clean increase.... Garud says they cave
If the Reps fight to get some spending cuts with the increase... Garud says they are trying to make us default and that they are irresponsible.

In other words, Garud is a party hack that simply was going to bash Reps regardless of what they did.

Garud will also continue celebrating the inept fiscal policy of the Dems that continues requiring ever increasing debt limits... because Garud wants future generations to pay for things for him today.

No I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy of the Republican position. If they cave they are doing the right thing, because their position is ridiculous.
