Lies, lies and more lies.

Currently, the wealthy pays 15% federal income tax on investment income. (The liberals, of course, as is typical of their way, ignore the fact that the wealthy pay far MORE than 15% on other types of income, they use ONE income source, and make the claim that the wealthy pay less than we do (meaning the middle class, I suppose, since the poor pay nothing). That is the first lie from Obama.

However, the average middle class tax payer also pays 15% federal income tax on their income. Tell us, how is 15% federal income tax less than 15% federal income tax? That is the second lie. Even though investment income is taxed at a lower rate than other income of the wealthy, it is still the same as everyone else pays.

Now, I agree that someone who makes 20 times as much as I do should pay 20 times the federal income taxes that I do. That is fair. (Other taxes are a different topic, but the liberal twits also, through implication, are lying about what the rich pay in consumption and other taxes in comparison to middle-class. For instance, the rich almost invariably buy far more fuel (especially if they own a jet) - thus paying far more federal fuel taxes. Etc. etc. etc.)

But what I disagree with, and what makes the liberals policies class warfare (ie: treating the rich differently because they are rich) is their attitude that the rich should pay 50 times as much as I do, because they make 20 times as much as I do. How is that NOT class warfare? Punishing the rich for having more - yea, that is the liberal definition of "fair". That is also liberal class warfare.

the wealthy always win the proverbial class warfare, unless you have the opposite like mao or stalin. imo, class warfare is a myth. it is mostly a tool used by dictators to gain control of other people's wealth.

bringing up class warfare is ALWAYS a republican tactic. The rich keep getting richer and richer and the poor keep getting poorer and poorer and the middle class loses ground. THAT is the republican dream for America.

I don't think you understand how this works. As a CEO I first employ the best accountancy I can find. They, knowing the tax law, show me how I can draw a salary that commands the minimum tax possible. My company pays me a directors fee or bonus which might be in shares or cash. It also purchases a house that the company needs as an out of town office/meeting centre. Only I meet there. My expenses are vital company costs and my holidays are out of town company visits.
When it is all settled I can announce to the public that I pay the same rate of tax on my income as they do and I would not mind paying even more, except I don't draw any substantial income. My car(s) are the property of the company and the company pays tax on all its assets. I increase our prices so that you the poor, pay my company's taxes and my company pays my taxes.
Thank you, Mr. Worker, without you where would the country be. We are proud of you, we appreciate your sacrifice and regret the passing of your children due to starvation, after all had they grownup they could have devoted their miserable lives to me too.[Def. Country: me and my cronies]

dumbass, it is a liberal tactic.

stick to trolling

those filthy rich people who should all be tarred and feathered for what they've done to the country are engaging in class warfare!........

Since most American households pay excise taxes, income taxes, and payroll taxes (the costs are passed along to them by retailers, providers of services and employers in the form of higher prices and lower wages), and most Americans polled say they favor higher taxes for the rich, explain why the minority viewpoint should prevail.

Because they believe only in profits and to hell with this country and democracy. 98% of the population is considered ignorant drones to be isolated, divided, used and thrown away. They have no loyalty except to money.

How many of the wealthiest 2% that fund the Tea-orist movement have homes in - and hide assets - in other countries?

Nope - just taxed without their loopholes, deductions and other special treatment that allows them to pass their tax obligations off to their shareholders and customers.
