Chris Matthews: Why Doesn't Obama Just Release The Birth Certificate?

On Monday night's edition of "Hardball," host Chris Matthews talked about putting the birth certificate controversy surrounding President Obama to rest.

"Why has the president himself not demanded they put out the original documents?" Matthews wonders.

"If it exists, why not put it out?"

thats rich coming from someone who expressed shock that you didn't call me a hack the other day in a thread i made.....lol....clear projection on your part

thanks for finally calling out matthews and like i've always said and have always been right on --> you will not do so, until and only until you are forced to do so because your intellectual dishonesty is so transparent and in a weak effort to save yourself any further embarrassment, you give a puss "call out" to a your fellow lefty

but do continue to dishonestly try and project this out to be about bush and me

i think that you meant CM not CW

obama is in a position of power and all the birthers want to do is manuever him - he is too smart for that and all he really needs to do is continue being president

The point is this, Don's brother, Obama could put it all to rest if he would just publicize the original certificate. It's so god damn obvious even Chris Matthew's in all his arrogance realizes how easy this thing could be handled.

Call it whatever you like, but Obama looks like a damn fool for holding out on something so fence post stupid!

Again, we have to objectively look at WHY Obama has not produced the birth certificate. Believers in the Messiah Obama, like Onzies, are never going to question this, because they have faith their Messiah has been completely honest and upfront with them. I've never said that I think Obama was not born in Hawaii, but that would indeed be a good reason not to release a birth certificate. I don't know what other reasons there could be, I have racked my brain trying to come up with another logical one. Perhaps his "father" is listed as someone else? Can anyone come up with rational explanations for why Obama hasn't revealed the actual birth certificate?

Look, you "non-birthers" can call these people nutty and kooky all day long, but it's like, if a UFO landed in Time Square, and little green men got out, spoke gibberish to the mayor, got back in and flew away, and the next day, people were trying to say it never happened, and those who believe it did, are crazy! Millions of people saw what happened, and they didn't mass hallucinate. Obama has yet to produce the official birth record, and regardless of the reason, that's why this is still an issue and story.

I almost brought up the "tingles" comment; that was flat-out embarassing.

I have thought Matthews is a nut for quite some time. I enjoyed his show more back in the '90's, but he has gotten nuttier with the years. He was positively schizophrenic about the Iraq War; if you talk to Desh, she thinks he was as bad as the worst hardcore rightie in beating the drums for war.

He drools, too....
 
Mathews is an idiot.

He has been for some time.

He is a terrible interviewer and cant shut hius mouth long enough to let a guest answer for ten seconds a question he took 5 minutes to ask.

I have written msnbc about taking him off the air for his utter stupidity in the past.

Mathews thought Bush looked hot in jeans and backed the idiot war for quite some time.
 
Looks like the lesson to be learned is that their nuts on both the right and the left
AND
some of each side would like this issue of BCert. put to rest once and for all....

because we're all getting sick of hearing about it....
