President Trump is being treated like a royal during his visit to China, and received a rare dinner inside the country's most famed imperial palace.

Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday as part of his 12-day tour of Asia, and was greeted by a small army of children waving American and Chinese flags as part of an elaborate welcoming ceremony.

The President, who welcomed his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to his resort Mar-a-Lago earlier this year, later said he was having a "great time" in the Middle Kingdom after watching a dance performance.

Trump is also the first U.S. president to be given a state dinner in the Forbidden City, an elaborate palace in the center of Beijing used for centuries by China's ruling dynasty.

The unusual amount of pomp and circumstance is believed to be part of China's efforts to flatter Trump amid American advances on trade and the nuclear program in North Korea.

I don't know if they love him, or that we want them to necessarily love us.

But they respect him. Unlike Obama they see that Trump has balls, big balls.
Countries run by ruthless people have no respect for weakness, they eat it alive.

They knew the last 8 years with Obama, that they were dealing with an American leader that wore panties under his trousers. A man who would wimper at the first sign of real conflict.
they were not going to partner up to stand against North Korea, or Russia, or Iran, or any other serious threat with a man wearing panties.

So there's hope, they seem to read Trump is serious, unpredictable, and resolved to stop this insanity that threatens the free world.
So we are on our way.

A top Communist Party official said Friday that China won’t force foreign companies to turn over technology secrets to gain market access, signaling attention to a key sticking point with U.S. President Donald Trump as he prepared to leave Beijing.

The statement by Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang, the Communist Party’s No. 4 official, was made in an article published in the People’s Daily newspaper under his byline.

Wang’s statement stands out for the seniority of the person making it and its timing.
